3000Xtra/Eikon are strategic desktop products of Thomson Reuters that provide real-time, news, historical and analytic financial information to help financial professional in making decision and doing transaction base on Windows platform. Currently, there are more than 100,000 users in US, Europe and Asia using product.

Successful candidate will join 3000Xtra/Eikon desktop development team base in Bangkok that have to collaborate with development team in Paris/Moldova to deliver result.  He/she will be involved in all development activities (design, coding, code reviews, unit test, release and debugging)  to develop and maintain various desktop products base on 3000Xtra/Eikon framework.

Responsibility

• Coding follow defined requirement specification
• Code review
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• Debugging (Bug fixing)
• Performance/Resource Consumption (CPU, Memory and etc.) optimization
• Documentation (design, specification, new feature description)
• Interact with other team (Development, Quality Assurance and etc.) to deliver result effectively

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 year experience as a Software Engineer
• Very Good knowledge in Java programming
• Good knowledge in Unix Administration like Solaris 10, Linux.
• Familiar with C# programming for Web application with web technology including CSS, Java Script, AJAX
• Familiar with database programming and basic administration for clustering and replication.
• Good command of English
• Ability to work as a team, flexible, proactive, well organized and focus on objectives
• Eager to work in a multicultural environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
• Thai National or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the Company having to obtain a work permit.
